Three illegal appointments challenged in Lahore High Court

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Jawad Hassan on Tuesday issued notices to Punjab government through secretary services, general administration and other departments concerned on three separate petitions challenging appointments of three non-cadre federal officers on lucrative administrative postings against rules.

The court has issued notices to Punjab chief secretary, school education department secretary, Punjab governor secretary, local government secretary and community development by January 22 on three different petitions filed by a senior vice president of PMS Officers Association and currently working as Tandlianwala Assistant Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Ali Dogar.

The petitioner moved the petitions through his counsel Sheraz Zaka challenging appointments of three federal officers.
