Online monitoring introduced in teaching hospitals

Workshop was arranged by the Strategic Planning Unit

LAHORE: Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah said an online monitoring system has been introduced for ventilators at teaching hospitals and healthcare institutions. He said the system would further improve the quality of emergency and intensive care unit services.

He stated this while addressing a training workshop for the staff of 40 teaching hospitals of the province. They were being trained on standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the online monitoring system of ventilators.

The workshop was arranged by the Strategic Planning Unit (SPU) of Specialised Healthcare Department at the Auditorium of Children Hospital. 135 staff members from 40 hospitals attended the workshop.
