Four killed, 29 injured in separate accidents in Balochistan

Women, security personnel victims, officials say

QUETTA: Four people were killed and 29 sustained injuries in separate incidents in Balochistan on Monday.

An over-speeding Karachi-bound passenger van turned over in Mastung district, leaving two people dead and 22 others including five women injured.

Rescue workers reached the incident site and shifted the victims to Quetta Civil Hospital.

Meanwhile, two vehicles collided in Ziarat district, leaving Israr Jamali, a sub-divisional officer of the Public Health Engineering Department dead and three others injured.

Separately, a speeding truck collided with another lorry coming from the opposite direction, killing one and injuring two others.

In another incident in Khaliqabad Mangochar area, an over-speeding passenger coach hit a Levies check-post, injuring two security personnel.
