Amir Khan gears up for an Australian reality TV show to 'stay out of trouble'

Grabbing headlines in the past for his unstable marriage, boxer Amir Khan has just landed in Brisbane, Australia to begin filming for a reality TV show I Am Celebrity. According to Daily Mail, many other stars have been touching down at the Brisbane airport to make their jungle debuts.

Amir said to reporters that he was using this show as an excuse to stay out of trouble.

Initially, the show bosses thought he would play a hunky single man to provoke some romance on the show. His on-again-off-again relationship with his wife Faryal Makhdoon would make him an interesting contestant on the show. However, this news comes just a day after announcing his reconciliation with Faryal and Amir is keen to set things straight with her.
