Business plans: Two-day workshop begins at UVAS

Entrepreneurship should seek to create a self-sustaining eco-system for higher education: director.

LAHORE: A two-day workshop on business plans kicked off at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) conference hall on Saturday.

The workshop, organised by the UVAS economics and business management department and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), was addressed by NUST Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship director Qasim Sheikh and UVAS business and life sciences dean Ijaz Ahmad.

Sheikh said entrepreneurship should seek to create a self-sustaining eco-system for higher education and wealth generation within the national socio-economic context.

He said that making money through honest hard work is a Sunnat. He said that wealth generation was an important goal.
