FAISALABAD: Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) recovered Rs84.2 million as revenue for the month of October. Presiding over a departmental meeting on Friday, Wasa Vice Chairman Mian Irfan Manan said the agency had been put on the road to self-sufficiency and it had been meeting its recovery target.

Meanwhile, the sessions court has ordered registration of cases against station house officers (SHOs) of two police stations over non-compliance of the court orders.

The court directed the police department to register a case against SHO Chak Jhumrah police station because he failed to recover murder weapon from an accused.

Similarly, SHO Thikri wala police station repeatedly failed to comply with the court orders in a pending case.
