Punjab Ombudsman ordered officials concerned to retrieve land from occupants

BHAKKAR: The revenue department and municipal committee officials retrieved occupied government land from encroachers in Bhakkar. Officials said an influential figure from Faisalabad had illegally occupied commercial land of Punjab government which was situated on Mankera-Jhang-Bhakkar Road, Khiary Wala. On the complaint of Tariq Iqbal and Hussain, the Punjab Ombudsman ordered the officials concerned to retrieve the land from the occupants. A team, led by Assistant Commissioner Akbar, demolished illegal construction on the land and retrieved it from the clutches of the land grabbers.
