LAHORE: Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh of the Lahore High Court referred some petitions, to a larger bench which is already entertaining cases in which exorbitant hike in fee of private sector school was challenged. The petitioners Asma, Amjad, Kashif Riaz and Farhat in their petitions contended that the larger bench of the LHC had already stopped the private institutions from increasing fee. They implored that the bench had introduced a policy for the private institutions but even then the fee was illegally increased. They said neither any action was taken against any private educational institution nor they version was heard. They prayed the court to cancel the stay order of private schools which they had obtained over 22% hike in school fee.
