Rangers' raid: Political worker among 11 suspects taken into custody in Karachi
Paramilitary force claims to have recovered arms, ammunition from their possession

A worker of a political party was arrested during a targeted raid conducted on a tip-off in the Shah Faisal Colony area. The Rangers spokesperson said that the suspect was identified as Syed Ziaullah, who was affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement - London.
The spokesperson added that the suspect was involved in various cases of target killings and extortion.
Separately, the paramilitary force also claimed to have arrested at least 10 more suspects during raids in different areas of the city. According to the Rangers spokesperson, the raids were conducted in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Korangi Industrial Area, Shah Faisal Colony and Saudabad areas.
The arrested suspects were identified as Saad Khaliq, Roshan Ali alias Sheharyar, Hamza Ali, Azhar Ali alias Munna, Ali alias Munna, Shahzad, Kifayat alias Kaka, Iqbal, Naveed and Naeem.
The paramilitary spokesperson said that the suspects were involved in various cases of street crime, robberies and vehicle snatching. Rangers also recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
The suspects were later handed over to the police for further interrogation.
