PESHAWAR: The political administration of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) has asked all local and international NGOs to employ local people particularly the educated youth in their projects under way in the agency.

A notification issued from the office of assistant political agent (APA) of NWA on Thursday asked all NGOs working in the agency to hire young educated people of the area if they meet the requirements. NGOs were directed by the APA office that instead of hiring from other part of the country, it was mandatory for them to hire local people, to provide them job opportunity at their doorstep.

The APA also said that in case an organisation has put up an advertisement it should re-advertise the positions filled by non-locals. The head of the NGOs were asked to inform the office concerned for the development regarding the new notification.
