The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a man for committing fraud in Sheikhupura.
An FIA official said that Yousuf Ali, a resident of Sharqpur, was arrested for committing fraud with people. The accused received Rs0.8 million from a complainant, Shahbaz, a resident of Faisalabad, on the pretext of sending him abroad.
Cybercrime court gives first judgment in fraud case
However, the accused neither sent him abroad nor returned his money. Meanwhile, teams of the social welfare department caught 21 beggars from different roads and markets of the city during a campaign.
