Fishermen's welfare: Society gets new administrator

The newly appointed administrator of Fishermen's Cooperative Society (FCS), Abdus Saeed Khan, assumes charge.

KARACHI: The newly appointed administrator of Fishermen's Cooperative Society (FCS), Abdus Saeed Khan, assumed charge on Friday.

Addressing the FCS staff, Khan said that he will work towards the welfare of the fishermen.

"The purpose of my appointment is to bring about improvement in FCS affairs and in the fish harbour, in accordance with the guidelines of the European Union," he added, saying the society needed to work harder to improve things.
