Sharing Expertise: Chinese delegation visiting the country

Delegation of Chinese experts held workshops, meetings in Karachi, Lahore

ISLAMABAD: The Board of Investment (BOI) is focusing on increasing the ease of doing business by providing modern facilities for foreign investors in Special Economic Zones (SEZs), BOI Spokesman Shahjahan Shah told APP here on Wednesday. A delegation of Chinese experts, headed by China International Engineering Consultant Corporation’s (CIECC) Du Zhenli, also held workshops and meetings in Karachi and Lahore in this regard for reviewing and negotiating future investment opportunities in Pakistan, Shah added. The BOI spokesman said that the experts discussed and gave detailed briefing on the successful models and operations of economic zones in China besides sharing their expertise with representatives of provincial government officials.
