"It's unexpected to say the least - to have a baby out of wedlock would risk creating quite a scandal for the royal family - but Harry and Meghan are eager to build a family together. The sooner the better," said a source.
The 33-year-old British prince 'couldn't be happier, even if they may ruffle some feathers. Besides, the royal family has weathered worse', the source added.

The couple is said to have broken their alleged baby news to the Queen.
"Supposedly, she didn't mince words and told them it was 'a most unfortunate situation'. But she'll always support them. Now, it's up to her to consult with royal advisers about how to handle such a shocking development and what it may mean for a wedding date," said the source.
Markle will be moving to London and make it her new, permanent home after finishing the filming of season 7 of Suits.
Recently, it was reported that Prince Harry lusted over Meghan Markle’s sexy Suits character Rachel Zane for two years before meeting her.
Meghan Markle has reportedly asked Kate Middleton to be her maid of honour
The revelation came from royal expert Katie Nicholl who gives a fresh insight into Harry’s shock relationship with the US actor in a new TV documentary.
She also tells how Harry, who has been dating Meghan for 18 months, named the star as his “ideal girl” when asked by a pal.
Katie said,“He had a crush on Rachel Zane two years before he met Meghan and the reason I know is because I was having drinks with one of his friends.
“She told me she’d been on a night out with Prince Harry. He was single at the time, so she said, ‘Harry, who’s your ideal girl?’ And he said ‘Meghan Markle from Suits.’”
Meghan, 36, has played the sophisticated New York paralegal in the hit show for six years.
Harry, 33, orchestrated a meeting in July 2016 through mutual friend Markus Anderson when Meghan was in London to see pal Serena Williams play at Wimbledon.
Meghan Markle 'quits Suits' as she plans to wed Prince Harry
Katie - who features in tomorrow’s 9pm Channel 4 documentary When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Romance - said, “He asked Markus if he could set up, not a date, but an opportunity for them to meet and that happened in one of the private rooms of Soho House.
“There were about seven or eight of them altogether and it was a perfect opportunity for Harry and Meghan to come together in a really informal environment and actually talk.
“She was funny, feisty, confident and she wasn’t swayed or knocked by the fact that he was Prince Harry. She thought he was terribly cute.”
Harry later told his circle that she was a “cracking girl”.
