Taliban man arrested from Vehari

The man identified as Sibghatullah was shifted to an undisclosed location.

VEHARI: A man claiming to be a member of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan was arrested from Vehari on Wednesday.

The man identified as Sibghatullah was shifted to an undisclosed location. Police said he was a resident of Khanewal’s 30-10R Katcha Khoo. He had moved to Vehari eight years ago.

Sources said a kidnapping for ransom case had been registered against his brother with the Islamabad’s Marghala police station so he could have been moved to Islamabad.
