K-P’s tourism sector receives boost

Online registration of tourist facilities ordered

PESHAWAR: Tourism, Culture and Sports Secretary Muhammad Tariq directed the directorate of tourists’ services on Monday to set up online registration of all hotels, restaurants and travel agencies in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) within a month for facilitation of tourists.



Presiding over a meeting of the directorate here, he said the move is meant to allow intending tourists to get information about booking and other services online. The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary Tourism and Culture Tosif Khalid, Assistant Director Tourists’ services Muhammad Arbi, Incharge Marketing and Media Hassina Shaukat and other staff.
