Regional affairs: Stable Afghanistan in our interest, speaker tells envoy
Sami told the Afghan envoy that Western powers did not want peace and stability in the region and wanted to wage a war against the Islamic world.
He also underscored the need to restore peace in Afghanistan and termed it imperative for peace in Pakistan.
15 Afghan army trainees killed in Kabul suicide attack
The meeting comes days after a suicide bomber killed 15 Afghan army trainees as they were leaving their base in Kabul, the defence ministry said, in the latest deadly attack in the capital.
On Monday, Zakhilwal also met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale.
