PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Friday rejected the bail plea of a man who is accused of creating a fake Facebook profile of a girl and using her photographs without her consent.

Justice Roohul Amin Khan of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) heard the bail application filed by Taimur Ahmad.

He, however, rejected the bail application and ordered to send the accused to jail.

Ahmad, a resident of Swat, had allegedly made a fake Facebook account of girl F* and uploaded her photographs without her permission.

The girl’s lawyers told the court that a session court had already rejected Ahmad’s bail application since he was accused of committing a heinous social crime and was hence not entitled to the concession of a bail.
