Bus conductor stabs and kills passenger in Karachi's Bahadurabad

Conductor and driver of the bus threw the victim's body outside an Edhi Centre and left, were later arrested by police

A bus conductor murdered a passenger on Tuesday following a scuffle between the two near Bahadurabad Chowrangi in Karachi.

Police said the victim, who is yet to be identified, is a Pashtun in his 30s.

Following a heated argument between the two men on the bus, a fist fight broke out after which the conductor attacked the passenger with a sharp-edged object.

The victim succumbed to his wounds because of profuse bleeding.

The bus conductor and driver threw the victim's body outside an Edhi Centre near Ghani Chowrangi and left.

Later, the police managed to arrest the bus conductor, identified as Umer Naeem, and the bus driver, Arif Nawaz.

The police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital and registered a case.
