QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said that concrete steps are being taken for the improvement of education and health sectors in the province.

“The budget of both the sectors has been doubled, and this step is yielding positive results,” Zehri said during a meeting with Base Commander Samungli Airbase Air Commodore Muhammad Nadeem Sabir who called on him on Monday.

He said the government valued the cooperation of the armed forces for the betterment of education and health sectors.

Traditions Balochistan’s identity: Zehri

Lauding the efforts being made by the provincial government for the development of Balochistan, Commodore Sabir said that the vision of the chief minister was commendable.

He invited the chief minister to be the chief guest at the air show to be held on November 20 with the collaboration of PAF and China Air Force.

“The air show is aimed at highlighting the cooperation of both the countries in CPEC and to provide an opportunity to the people of Balochistan to watch the fighter jets display,” he said.

Zehri assured the commander that he, along with his cabinet members, would attend the air show.

Informing the CM about the employment opportunities for civilians in PAF, he said that a large number of civilians were serving in various sectors in Samungli Airbase and “their performance is admirable”.
