PHA to open parks in two months  

Rehabilitation work under way in different parks of the city to restore recreational activities, said PHA spokesperson

MULTAN: Two famous parks of the city will be made operational within two months after completion of rehabilitation work.

This was said by Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) spokesperson Jalaluddin. Jalaluddin said rehabilitation work was under way in different parks of the city to restore recreational activities. He added the PHA administration had received five million rupees by the district administration for rehabilitation work.

PHA decides to outsource eight fountains

He said Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha would visit these parks to review work within the next few days. He maintained that 90% work had been competed at Baghechi and Toya Kani parks while work on landscaping, walking tracks and others would be completed soon. The PHA official said 40% rehabilitation work had been completed at Social Welfare Park and Linear Park.
