Fried or scrambled? Even the egg has its day

LAHORE: The Department of Poultry Production of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in collaboration with the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA), observed World Egg Day on Friday.

Different activities including a seminar and walk were organised. There were also cooking, shell model-making and eating contests on the occasion to create awareness about the nutritional value of this essential commodity and its effect on the growth of the human body.



In his address, Dr Chuhdary said eggs played a vital role in feeding people around the world, both in developed and developing countries. He advised students to work with dedication and play a vital role in the development of the poultry sector along with PPA.
