The police said that six-year-old Ahmad Omer, a student of grade two, was going to school when a speedy vehicle knocked him down. As a result, he was killed on the spot. The police shifted the body to hospital for legal formalities.

E&T Director Shahid Faridi said 650 vehicles were checked and 350 were confiscated for having unregistered and illegal number plates. He added 400 tax defaulters were given warnings.
