QUETTA: Nationalist governments in Balochistan had always betrayed the people of the province, who would ultimately hold them accountable for all their wrongdoings, provincial Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sardar Sar Buland Jogezai said on Wednesday.

Criticising the incumbent provincial government, he said that it was steeped in corruption.

Addressing party workers from various districts, Sardar Sar Buland Jogezai said that those who called themselves nationalists betrayed the people’s confidence in Balochistan during the elections in 2013.

“Instead of serving the people, the incumbent government is busy in corruption and public development funds are being looted,” he said.

Numerous corruption cases in accountability courts reveal the true face of nationalist political parties, he said.

Talking about the PPP manifesto, he said that PPP was the only political party that ensured development in Balochistan, “Our party always stood up for Balochistan’s due rights. It also strived for increased share for Balochistan in the NFC Award.”

Urging party activists to prepare for 2018 elections, Sar Buland Jogezai said that with people’s help, PPP would again form the government in Balochistan.

“We have to deliver Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s message to every corner of Balochistan.”
