
The main accused who helped the Taliban in the attack on the Sakhi Sarwar shrine had fled to Dubai the next day of the assault. Border Military Police (BMP) has contacted Interpol through the Punjab govt to bring him back home.
The accused had also been under investigation in Wadani Imabargah suicide attack case. His family is settled in Saudi Arabia. He is said to be associated with Ahl-e-Hadis Wal Jamaat.
The names of the local persons who assisted Tehreek-i-Taliban in execution of the suicide attack at Sakhi Sarwar shrine are being unearthed after the arrest of the mastermind of the attack Behram Khan alias Sufi Baba.
According to the sources an important name included in the suspects involved in the attacks is Ahmad Khan Kalilani Khalol alias Sharif alias Ayaz Punjabi. He helped the attackers by providing transportation, arms and ammunition and fled after completion of his task to Dubai.
BMP has contacted Interpol through the government of Punjab and the Interior Ministry has become active to bring the accused back to Pakistan. According to the sources Ahmad Khan was trained in Afghanistan.
The accused is a young man and he holds an important position in the network. He has contacts at high level and he used these contacts to leave for Dubai unchecked on an expired passport from Karachi airport on April 4.
