LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday the provincial government was implementing a comprehensive programme to provide the latest means of transportation to people across the province.
He said this while presiding over a high-level meeting during his visit to the camp office of Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) at Kamahan. He also inspected progress being made on the project of Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop. FWO Director General Lt-Gen Muhammad Afzal along with other high officials, commissioner and DC Lahore and other officers were also present on the occasion.
'Quality transport is everyone's right'
The chief minister said the government was working on different projects for provision of the latest transport facilities to people, and spending billions of rupees on these projects.
"The Southern Loop project is an important progress in this regard," he said.
