We are anxiously waiting for the Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh-starrer Padmavati, which is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

While the character's first-looks from the movie have already taken the internet by storm and we could hardly wait for the first trailer to come out. And now it's finally here! And in true Bhansali fashion, it showcases the lead cast brilliantly and has left us speechless. Well, one of them more so than the others.
Ranveer's menacing avatar as Alahuddin Khilji is just as powerful as his personality!
The trailer portrays the chemistry between Shahid and Deepika’s roles beautifully in the initial scenes, where Rani Padmavati is stitching Maharawal Ratan Singh’s turban, and boy, they make one good couple!

But then enters Ranveer in all his glory and we are left mesmerised! The colours, the war sequences, the background score - all part of the trailer - will have you hooked instantly.

Ranvir is unrecognisable in his new avatar. His long tresses, kohl eyes and the scar across his face... everything about his look is just too good. The actor will be seen in a negative role in the film for the very first time.
