AC among nine booked over corruption

Officials had illegally allotted government land to their favourite people after preparing fake documents

SARGODHA: Police have registered cases against nine people including an assistant commissioner over corruption charges.

The Anti-Corruption (ACE) authorities said on Saturday complainant Dost Muhammad, a resident of Chak 46-ML Darya Khan, said in his application to ACE Director Asim Raza that Darya Khan Assistant Commissioner Sajid Safdar and Circle Patwari Atta Muhammad in collusion with Nazir Ahmad Numbardar, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Sajid, Bashir Ahmad, Zahid Imran, Shahid Imran and Muhammad Naeem had illegally allotted government land to their favourite people after preparing fake documents and damaged the national exchequer.
