Couple killed after roof collapse in Lahore

Seven children injured, two said to be in critical condition.

LAHORE: A couple was killed and seven of their children were injured when the roof of their house collapsed following heavy rains in Lahore last night.

Rescue workers said that the entire family had been injured after the dilapidated roof of the house had caved in following rainfall.

The family had been rushed to General Hospital, where Soba Khan and his wife died. Two of the children are still in critical condition.

The man, who has been identified Soba Khan, had shifted to Lahore from Mohmand Agency with his family and was living in a single room house on Kamahan Road.
