Mashal murder case: ATC adjourns hearing till Saturday

HARIPUR: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) special judge Fazal Subhan on Thursday adjourned the hearing of Mashal Khan murder case till Saturday after recording the statement of four witnesses in Haripur Central Jail.

So far the court has recorded testimonies of 29 witnesses at a special courtroom set up inside the Haripur Central Jail. The court has reserved judgement on the bail plea of 25 suspects. The ATC had indicted 57 people in the case.

On the fifth hearing of the murder case of Mashal Khan who was brutally killed by a mob in Mardan’s Abdul Wali Khan University on April 13, 2017, the court recorded the statements of four more witnesses presented by the prosecution and adjourned the hearing till October 7.
