Pso & Ogdc: Agreement signed for 30m litres of HSD

Agreement reached for annual supply of 25 to 30 million litres of high speed diesel

KARACHI: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), the largest oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company in Pakistan, has inked an agreement with Pakistan State Oil (PSO) for annual supply of 25 to 30 million litres of high speed diesel (HSD) to meet its operational requirements at fields, plants and drilling rigs.

OGDCL’s CEO Zahid Mir said the company is looking for sustainable and viable agreements with national and international partners to make OGDCL a successful E&P company.

“This agreement will enable OGDCL to conduct uninterrupted operations at field locations across the country and will effectively contribute to enhancing indigenous hydrocarbon production to reduce the import bill on account of crude oil,” he added.
