K-P Programme: Youth targeted for tourism revival

Youth tourism programme launched for the promotion and revival of the sector in the province.

PESHAWAR: The tourism corporation, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), has launched a youth tourism programme for the promotion and revival of the sector in the province. The tourism corporation is targeting the youth to create awareness regarding the importance of the sector. “The provincial government has already allocated a piece of land to the corporation for the establishment of a tent camp at Donga Gali, a summer resort in Galiyat,” said Zahoor Ahmad Durrani, consultant tourism corporation, while talking to the media. He said that students from different schools and colleges would be selected for a four-day stay in Donga Gali at very nominal charges.
