MANSEHRA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Abbottabad chapter on Tuesday arrested a suspect involved in the killing of aid workers in 2010.

Police said Qari Shakil, a leader of banned Lashkar-e-Ababeel, who carried a bounty of Rs1 million on his head, was arrested from Darband area of Mansehra.

Militants of Lashkar-Ababeel had attacked the office of World Vision in Mansehra on March 10, 2010.

The six victims, including two women, were all Pakistanis working for the US charity.

In October 2015, CTD had arrested another man involved in the attack. Qari Rasheed was said to have planned and carried out the attack on the office of World Vision. The Hazara CTD, in March 2016, had caught Mohammad Gul, a former Frontier Constabulary soldier for killing the charity workers.
