SIALKOT:
Special duty magistrates raided various parts of Sialkot city and arrested four shopkeepers for re-filling gas cylinders illegally at their shops. On Monday afternoon, police officials arrested four accused shopkeepers, Waqar, Arshad, Khalid and Nasir. The accused were caught red handed as they were filling up gas cylinders behind their shops. Duty magistrate Kashif Ather said that several teams had been formed to monitor such activities in the district. “We will be searching all major shopping areas and petrol stations to regulate illegal gas use,” he said. Police have registered separate cases against the accused and further investigations are underway.
