UET to build campus in Upper Dir

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) will soon set up a new campus in Upper Dir after the project was approved by the respective authority.
The idea of establishing a campus of the engineering and technological university had been presented by the Minister for Local Government Inaytullah Khan in 2015. Officials had completed a survey for acquiring land for the project the same year.
According to UET Peshawar, the project concept-I (PC-I) of the campus worth Rs2.019b has been approved by Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in its meeting held on September 15, 2017. It was decided that project will be funded by the provincial government through the ADP fund and will be completed in three years.
