PU awards five PhD degrees

PU Examinations Department also declared the results of BSC.S 2nd annual examinations 2016

LAHORE: The Punjab University (PU) awarded five PhD degrees on Monday to scholars in different fields.

Mahwish Bashir was awarded the degree in the subject of Solid State physics Microelectronics/Nanotechnology after approval of her thesis entitled “Stabilisation of Zirconia Using Different Experimental Methods and their Applications.” At the same time, Marium Muhammad Hussain was given her doctorate in International Relations on her thesis entitled “Role of India in Afghanistan and the Changing Regional Security Scenario of South Asia: Implications for Pakistan (2001-2014)”.

Meanwhile, Humaira Yasmeen earned her PhD in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics. Others included Raza Ashraf and Habibur Rehman. Moreover, the Punjab University Examinations Department has declared the results of BSC.S (second & third year) 2nd annual examinations 2016. The detailed result is also available at www.pu.edu.pk
