Scores of labourers attended a convention to demand their rights in Daharki. Labourers of more than 30 employee and contract unions attended the convention. The convention was organised by Ghotki’s industrial labourers to protest against their forced suspension under the contract system. While addressing the crowd, MNA Mian Abdul Haq said that labourers had been retrenched for demanding their rights. He said that the struggle for labourers’ rights will continue.
