Girl commits suicide after fight with sister in Haripur

The woman jumped into a well and killed herself reportedly after exchanging hot words with sister-in-law

HARIPUR: A young woman jumped into a well and killed herself reportedly after exchanging hot words with her sister-in-law. Officials said that 21-year-old Sidra bibi, a resident of Dongi Tube Well in the suburbs of Kot Najibullah, had married Jumma Khan a while ago. On Thursday, she exchanged harsh words with her sister-in-law – who is also her sister. The exchange upset Sidra who jumped into a nearby well. When her family discovered that she was not at home, they went out to look for her and discovered her body floating in the well. They then called the police who, with the help of locals, managed to pull the body out and transferred it to the Women and Children’s Hospital in Haripur. There, after completing medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to her family for burial.
