ISLAMABAD: Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has arrested two muggers allegedly involved in street crimes in Tarnol, Sihala, Lohi Bher and Koral and recovered stolen cell phones, a laptop, motorbikes and weapons from them, a police spokesman said. Following repeated complaints of muggings in the said areas, SSP (Operations) Sajid Kiani constituted special team under supervision of SP (Investigation) Zeeshan Haider to arrest the criminals. This team headed by DSP Muhammad Ashraf Shah caught Nazeer Khan and Usman who confessed their involvement in several street crimes in Tarnol, Sihala, Lohi Bher, Koral and recovered 10 mobile phones, a laptop, three motorbikes and weapons from their possession. SSP Kiani has appreciated performance of the team and directed all officers to ensure effective policing in their respective areas.
