The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) held a two-day-long mega hackathon on developing telecom applications.

The hackathon was hosted by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) of NUST and was held at both the Sector H-12 Campus in Islamabad and at PNEC in Karachi.

The Telecom Application Development Hackathon (TADHack) saw 15 shortlisted teams from across Pakistan participate. Following on from the Telecom Application Development – a US-based initiative that started in 2013 as a grassroots effort – is focused on bringing together businesses, developers, non-coders and enthusiasts in using telecom capabilities in their applications, services, or businesses to solve local and global problems.
