Busted: Big cache of hashish seized, two held

WAH CANTT: The Wah Cantonment police foiled a narcotics smuggling attempt and arrested two suspected drug paddlers on Sunday.

The Wah Cantt police station house officer (SHO) Inspector Chaudhry Zulfiqar told Daily Express on Sunday that police stopped a suspicious vehicle (N-3497, Peshawar) at a checkpoint on G.T. Road.

During search of the vehicle, police seized 140 kilograms (3.5 mounds) hashish.

The SHO said that the police arrested Hameedullah and Abdul Hameed, residents of Peshawar.

During preliminary interrogation, they confessed that the big cache of drugs was being smuggled from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab and Azad Kashmir.

The Wah Cantt police registered a case against the two suspected drug smugglers.
