However, just as the couple never acknowledged their courtship, they never spoke about their break up either.

Alia was recently seen with her ex-boyfriend Ali Dadarkar after these rumours surfaced. The two went to school together and dated before she made it to the big screen. After her debut role in Student of the Year, the duo split.



Although Alia and Ali remained friends, it was only recently that the pair started hanging out again.

Ali studied Engineering at the University of Sussex, England and is a mechanical engineer by profession. He also lived in Dubai for a while.

Alia has never confirmed her relationship with Ali, however, her Student of the Year co-star and close friend Varun Dhawan stated on an episode of Koffee with Karan that Alia was in a relationship with a guy named Ali from Dubai.
