Teaching Trials: DCO wants more students in school

DCO warns teachers and education officers of termination if they don't participate in ensuring maximum enrollment.

KHANEWAL: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rashid Mehmood warned teachers and education officers that their services would be terminated if they did not participate fully in ensuring the maximum enrolment of children in schools.

Mehmood was speaking to Government Model High School senior head master Mohammad Ajmal and urged teachers to ensure maximum enrolment.

He also directed them to highlight the importance of education to parents and make door-to-door visits to encourage enrolment of more students.

On the occasion, executive district officer (EDO) education Mohammad Fazal Saleemi also said that teachers needed to play a key role in this regard.
