PU, Nanjing collaborate on scientific research

Two universities will launch joint projects on CPEC

LAHORE: Punjab University and one of China’s leading varsities, Nanjing University, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start joint scientific research projects on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and to enhance cooperation in other fields.

Strengthening ties: PU signs MoU with Nanjing University

A MoU signing ceremony was held at the committee room of Vice Chancellor’s office in which PU Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir, Faculty of Arts and Humanities Dean Dr Iqbal Chawla, Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, Nanjing University Vice President Dr Zhu Qingbao, History Department Director Dr Yu Wenjie, External Linkages Director Dr Fauzia Hadi Ali, deans of various faculties and professors were present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir said that cooperation among Pakistani and Chinese universities in various areas of mutual interest was the need of the hour to strengthen relations between the two countries. He said PU and Nanjing University would launch joint research projects on various aspects of CPEC and exchange delegations between the two universities.

Dr Zhu Qinbao stressed the need to enhance cooperation in various academic fields between the two universities and invited a PU delegation to visit Nanjing University.



PU declares result

On the other hand, Punjab University Examinations Department declared the result of B.Com Part-I and Part-II Annual Examination 2017. A detailed result is available on the PU website at www.pu.edu.pk. Also, the Punjab University Examinations Department has issued the date sheet of BS (4-years programme) second semester examinations 2017. Details are also available on the PU website.
