Immigration officers train to serve with a smile

2-day workshop 'Service with smile' was organised at FIA Academy on directives of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal

A two-day workshop, titled “Service with smile” was organised at the FIA Academy to brief immigration officers on a benevolence service when dealing with passengers.

The workshop is a first in a series drafted on the directives of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, the training included officers from Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar airports.

Speaking at the event, DG FIA Bashir Ahmed emphasised on “good behavior” while dealing with passengers at the immigration desks. Other notable speakers included IG National Highway & Motorway Police [NH&MP] Syed Kaleem Imam, Ellis Kupferman of International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Programme [ICITAP] and Hasan Iftikhar from FIA Headquarters.
