The workshop is part of an academic pursuit by the university to promote research culture in the country.
The courses which will be covered under the academia-students interaction include research methods in gender studies, applied statistics in gender, feminist debates on gender inequalities, feminism and Islam, sociological theory-I and sociology of gender issues.
Aqleem Fatimah, the event’s coordinator, said that students from Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, DG Khan, Gujranwala, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad and Multan regions will participate in the workshop from their areas through video-conferencing.
Information letters to those attending the workshop have been sent.
