Army Museum opens doors to public in Lahore

The museum is a source of information and awareness about our history, says ISPR

The Army Museum in Lahore is now open for the general public, a statement issued by the  Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

Recently inaugurated by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa,  the museum depicts history and heritage of Pakistan through various sections.

"Army Museum Lahore Garrison depicts history and heritage of Pakistan movement titled Rebirth of a Nation, Quaid and armed forces, Pakistan’s war history including fight against terrorism, Shahuada Corner, Nishane Haider Gallery, life at highest battle field Siachin, Kashmir Corner, Pakistan’s contributions in [the] United Nations, nation building efforts and tribute to sacrifices of Minorities titled white of the Flag," the communique said.

"The museum is a source of information and awareness about our history," it added.
