Kohlu landmine blast kills woman, her two children

Tortured body found in Pishin; man gunned down in Zhob

QUETTA: A mother and her two children lost their lives on hitting, accidently, a roadside landmine in Kohlu district of Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to the Levies Force, the incident took place in Nasao area of Kahan where the landmine was planted by unknown miscreants. The bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy.

The Levies has registered a case against unknown persons and started investigation.



Meanwhile, tortured body of a man was found in Saranan area of Pishin district.

The unidentified victim was apparently murdered before being dumped. His body was shifted to a morgue for ascertaining his identity, and a case was registered against unknown killers.

In another incident, a man was gunned down in Zhob district. The Levies said that unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire on Mosa Gul and fled unchallenged.

Rescue workers and security officials rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital.
