Transfers, promotions : IG issues notices to four SPs

Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal transferred and posted four SPs and promoted several other police officers.

LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal on Thursday transferred and posted four SPs and promoted several other police officers.

Sikandar Hayat, the additional SP (Security), Rawalpandi has been transferred and posted as SP (Legal) Police College, Sihala, against an existing vacancy; Hussain Habib Imtaiz, SP (Investigation), Multan, has been transferred and posted as SSP (Investigation) Multan against an existing vacancy; and Syed Muhammad Wasi Hyder, the Murree Circle SDPO has been promoted as SP CIA, Rawalpindi, also against an existing vacancy.

Similarly, Tariq Nawaz Malik, SP Investigation Branch, Punjab; Fawaduddin Riaz Qureshi, the AIG (Logistic) at the provincial head quarters; Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, SSP Special Branch Punjab; Intisar Hussain Jaffery, SSP Investigation Branch Punjab; Aga Muhammad Yousaf, DPO Lodhran; and Muhammad Waqar Abbasi, DPO Khanewal, have been promoted to BS-19 and allowed to continue at their present assignments.
