Five dead, two injured as passenger bus runs over motorcyclists in Gojra

At least five people were killed and two others were injured as a passenger bus ran over several motorcyclists in Gojra, Toba Tek Singh, Punjab on Sunday evening.

The bus was heading to Faisalabad from Multan when its tire burst on Pansara road near Korian bus stop, causing it to hit several people there, Express News reported.

Rescue sources said the deceased include three men and two women while the injured include two, one of whom is a child.

Infuriated people blocked the road, while a heavy contingent of police reached the scene of the incident.

Tariq Saeed | 7 years ago | Reply No it was not fault of bikers as bus was over speeding & driver tried to overtake another bus but its tyre burst & bus took about-turn to the side from where it was coming and crushed two bikes killing 5 persons and then crushed a man standing on roadside.Total 6 had died
